PeckPerk recently participated in CES 2026, one of the world’s largest and most influential technology trade shows, bringing together over 3,000 exhibitors and industry professionals from more than 40 countries.
From the moment the show floor opened, the energy was unmistakable. We spent much of our time talking with people who were curious not just about smart devices, but about how technology fits into everyday outdoor life. Some conversations were quick exchanges in the aisle, others lingered longer — the kind that drift naturally from products to personal stories.
One moment that stayed with us was meeting a birdwatcher who shared how using one of our smart bird feeders had quietly become part of her daily routine. She described checking in on visiting birds between work breaks and how those small pauses brought a sense of calm and connection to her day. It was a vivid reminder that technology, when thoughtfully designed, can support experiences that feel genuinely human.
CES also gave us space to listen. Many discussions turned toward broader themes like solar-powered hardware, unobtrusive smart design, and the growing desire for technology that blends into the background rather than demanding attention. We found ourselves talking less about features and more about how smart technology fits into real lives and everyday routines.
Being part of CES allowed us to engage with the wider consumer electronics community and hear perspectives that don’t show up in spec sheets or product briefs. These conversations continue to influence how we think about our products and the moments they’re meant to support.
As we move forward, experiences like CES remind us why we started in the first place: to create tools that help people feel a little more connected to nature, even during busy, modern days. These experiences also reaffirm the shared excitement and curiosity that drives the smart outdoor technology community forward.
